Can You Believe It?: Odor Eliminator
PHILADELPHIA (KYW) Can a spray eliminate odor without adding a scent?
Consumer Reporter Paul Moriarty put "SeaYu Petrotech Odor Eliminator"
to the test.
Most air fresheners just mask odor. Plus,
they have a smell of their own, like potpourri or "summer's
breeze."
If a new product works as advertised
you can eliminate odors in the air, wood, carpet, fabric, and upholstery
for just $12 without having to add on another scent.
Supposedly all you have to do is spray
it on and the "SeaYu Petrotech Odor Eliminator" will encapsulate
and eliminate odors instantly. But, Can You Believe It?
To find out, Paul met up with Linda Kester
who has a number of smelly items in her garage from trash cans to
jogging shoes.
They began by spraying the trash cans,
then the shoes, and the cat's litter box.
Finally, they moved inside to the kitchen
to find out if the spray could eliminate the scent of boiled cabbage.
What did they think?
Both Paul and Linda agreed that the spray
worked as advertised in the air and on a variety of surfaces without
leaving behind a new scent.
